Clerically manages all patients arriving at Thompson Medical Center by acting as a clinical secretary.
Registration and processing of HealthWorks patients servicing the needs of our client companies.
Telephonic & other electronic communications to accurately deliver customer service to our patients & client companies.
Supports substance abuse services through accurate & timely processing of paperwork, results, and collections for testing.
Required Job Specific Competencies:
Exhibits Strong customer service skills, to include greeting patients working to service client companies demonstrating knowledge of occupational medicine program.
Accurately verifies patient demographic and insurance information for registration.
Demonstrates knowledge of Systoc to ensure quality data entry and scheduling.
Demonstrates commitment to success of the team & the dept.
through participation & active role in dept.
goals for both Immediate Care & HealthWorks.
Lives the CARES values at all times Education:
High School graduate or equivalent
Experience:
Strong computer knowledge and skills Working knowledge of occupational medicine services.
One to three years previous medical registration/billing preferred.
Good communication skills and personal attributes, which enables good rapport with patients and their employers.
Pay Range:
$16.
