Teacher Support/ Food Prep

Responsibilities:
- Adhering to all the policies and procedures of Care-a-lot Child Care and the child care licensing regulations of the New York State Department of Social Services Performing all work in accordance with governmental laws and state mandates Interacting with children in a positive, respectful, responsive, and encouraging manner Maintaining a positive work climate, meeting deadlines, and organizing kitchen procedures Providing timely supervisor reports outlining needs, problems, suggestions for improvement, etc.
Preparing timely menu, food cost, and budget information Maintaining knowledge of enrolled children's food allergies and planning, and preparing accordingly Maintaining records and keeping necessary written documentation Supervising and maintaining general housekeeping of the kitchen and food service area Interviewing, orienting, and supervising Kitchen Assistants Communicating effectively and directly with other staff Completing 15 hours of early childhood training within the first 6 months and every year thereafter Maintaining current Aspire account to record education and training with QualitystarsNY Taking on additional responsibilities as needed Job Type:
