This support role works directly with our sales team and is responsible for developing dynamic 3D timber frame models from architectural drawings, sketches, and/or collaborative discussion, as well as generating estimates from 3D models by gathering additional drawings, specifications, vendor quotes and/or related documents as needed.
There will be extensive on the job training for this role, but the ideal candidate will be able to multi-task proficiently in a fast-paced work environment and contribute to sales team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
The ability to prepare and present proposals for internal review and approval prior to sending to clients, and interfacing with prospective clients (both in person and over the phone) to understand project objectives, is a plus.
Required
Experience:
Competency in 3D AutoCAD and Microsoft office suite including excel and word.
3-5
years' experience with Sketchup and Revit.
Knowledge of residential building methods and materials.
Strong analytical capabilities.
Ability to read and understand construction documents.
Ability to coordinate and work independently.
Interest in sales and the sales process.
Preferred
Experience:
Experience with heavy timber and or sustainable/ high-performance construction.
Experience with high-end custom homebuilding.
The ability to provide creative timber solutions to architectural needs.
Required Education:
Associates degree in architecture, industrial design, or experience equivalent.
